What's going on in the circumgalactic medium?

This video featuring Romeel Dave presents a blackboard-style talk given as part of the 2021 program on Fundamentals of Galactic Halos hosted by the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics . It presents the basics of galactic atmospheres directed at an audience knowledgeable in physics but not necessarily astrophysics. At a length of approximately one hour, it is much longer than a typical video tutorial on this site, but it is also an excellent introduction to the subject.
